●今や個々でも大活躍中のBret McKenzieとJemaine Clementによるミュージカル・コメディ・デュオ、Flight of the Conchords。グラミー賞も受賞した彼らが、2009年のアルバム『I Told You I Was Freaky』以来約10年振りとなる作品『Live in London』を、2019年3月、Sub Popよりリリースする。
●HBO（Home Box Office。アメリカ合衆国の衛星およびケーブルテレビ放送）のコメディ・ドラマ・シリーズ『Flight of the Conchords』開始から10年となる2018年10月、ミュージカル・コメディアン、Bret McKenzieとJemaine Clementの二人（=Flight of the Conchords）はHBOのコメディ特番に戻ってきた。Eventim Apolloでおこなわれたこの『Live in London』は、オーディエンスの前でレコーディングされ、ソールド・アウトした『Flight of the Conchords Sing Flight of the Conchords Tour』のイギリス/アイルランド版からの楽曲をパフォーマンスしたFlight of the Conchordsをフィーチャーしたものだった。アルバムには7曲の新曲（「Iain and Deanna」「Father and Son」「Summer of 1353」「Stana」「Seagull」「Back on the Road」「Bus Driver」）が収録され、ファンの間でも人気の高い「Inner City Pressure」「Bowie」「Foux du Fafa」「Mutha’uckas - Hurt Feelings」「Robots」「Carol Brown」「The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room)」等も収録される。尚、「Carol Brown」「The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room)」の2曲はTV放送の際、編集されてしまった曲で、この度、ボーナス・トラックとして追加収録されることとなった。また、2018年秋、二人はThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertに出演し、アルバム収録曲「Father and So」もプレイした (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8iK1rhfYpI)。
